Alexis Bonnell is the Chief Information Officer and Director of the Digital Capabilities Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory, the primary scientific research and development center for the Department of the Air Force. She is responsible to develop and execute the AFRL Information Technology strategy, leading the strategic development of highly advanced next generation technologies and platforms for AFRL. Her focus includes catalyzing the discovery, development, and integration of warfighting technologies for air, space, and cyberspace forces via digital capabilities, IT infrastructure and technological innovation across the lab’s
operations and culture.
She was one of the first employees of the Internet Trade Association, contributing to the early development and growth of the digital landscape. She has served in challenging environments, including warzones with the United Nations to support over $1B of critical DOD operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and many other operational theaters. She has contributed to dual-use technology and innovation culture across the DOD Innovation community including: AFWERX,
AFRL, Kessel Run, NavalX, Marine Innovation Unit, Army Futures Command, DIU, Army Software Factory, DARPA and more. Prior to her current position, she was the Emerging Technology Evangelist at Google, driving the use of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, cyber security/zero trust, API First, Big Data, Cloud Computing, and others to drive efficiency and innovation within government organizations, including tackling digital transformation in defense, healthcare, education, COVID response, natural disasters, supply chain, system/process
modernization, hybrid workforce and more.

Bonnell co-founded the Global Development Lab, the premier innovation lab of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), leveraging Global Allied Nation partnerships in Science, Technology, and Innovation, reviewing over 25,000 game changing innovations and technologies, funding 1,200 of them. She served as USAID’s Chief Innovation Officer, receiving
the first 10/10 for innovation in the Results for America Rankings. She was named in the Fed 100 in 2020. She also assisted with
major platform and technology transitions, drove hybrid work adoption, countering malign nation initiatives and global cyber security programming.

David Haughey is a senior IT leader and strategist whose career has ranged from pulling ethernet cables through the attics of 19th century school buildings, to the boardrooms of some of the nation’s largest organizations, both private and in the Federal Government.

Dave brings his unique mix of technical experience, skilled communication, and passion for connecting and empowering people to elevate IT organizations to higher levels of performance for the customers they serve.

“Technology is an amplifier” says Dave. “In all its forms it can serve to empower people to greater levels of connection, success, and independence.”

A graduate from Michigan Technological University, he has worked over the decades to build highly successful, customer-focused, IT teams that deliver high value add in the businesses he has served.

At John Deere as Director of IT, North America for the Construction and Forestry Division’s retail organization he led his international team to focus on what matters most: delivering high customer satisfaction by empowering teams to focus on their customers, and not the technology they use.

Today, he leads one of the Federal Government’s largest dedicated SRE and Data Science teams. In his current role, Dave leads a team of expert engineers, data scientists, project managers, and communicators to fix some of the most complex and impactful technical problems facing the agency he serves.

Dave has been a speaker and educator for many years, helping others in business and government find ways to use technology to amplify their mission and empower their teams. From individual coaching and leading small group sessions for IT leaders, to delivering presentations and podcasts to large audiences, he brings his warm and connecting style to drive home his most important message: Together we can use technology to build a Brighter Tomorrow!

After getting an MBA from Tulane University, Mark worked at IBM for 13 years before forming Communiqué (1994) that became the South’s fastest growing ISP. After Communiqué, Mark merged multiple businesses and became the Chamber’s Rising Tide Small Business of the Year. In 2002, As President of the Louisiana Technology Council (LTC) he helped Louisiana rise from 49th to 32nd out of 50 states in technology employment and was selected by the Governor as Technology Leader of the year for Louisiana in 2005. Mark is a professional speaker, a leadership coach and moderates CEO Round tables for the State of Louisiana (10+ years). Mark published the book, “GIVE A DAMN! – The Ticket to Cultural Change.” As a bestselling author, his book discusses how a GIVE A DAMN attitude can culturally make a huge positive difference in all lives. Currently Mark is the CEO and co-founder of Evolve Media, a patented start up AI video development company that allows users to create a single video from multiple videos automatically, and it’s all done in minutes. As a Board member of EO of Louisiana Mark was awarded the “Marshall Klein Louisiana Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2019.

Throughout his career, Luiz has held key positions at Siemens, Unify, and Atos driving the delivery of new products, vertical offerings, and complex solutions across a wide range of technologies. Prior to Mitel, Luiz served as Chief Product and Technology officer for Unify, where he managed the complete Unify portfolio and was responsible for the development and launch of disruptive cloud solutions.
Luiz holds a dual bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Parana Federal University in Curitiba, Brazil and executive education from INSEAD Paris. He also holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute as well as several patents with the US Patent office.

In prior roles, David spent many years as Managing Director building and growing wealth management, payments and consumer banking businesses at J.P. MorganChase.
He led the sales & marketing, analytics and client experience teams for J.P. Morgan Global Wealth Management. Before this, he led the construction of the Chase affluent business model, leading and building the Chase Private Client model; from 8 branches and a handful of Advisors, to 3,000 Private Client Advisors across the US.
David started his financial services career with Lloyds Bank. This was followed by twelve years at American Express working in sales & marketing, finance and business leadership roles in Europe, Asia and the US.
Born and raised in New Zealand, David was educated in England where he began his career in banking. He’s been based in New York for twenty five years.
